Mrs. Jas. A. Reed:
This letter is to show my appreciation for what you have done for me in the past, and are still doing.
I have never met you personally, but have had the pleasure of seeing you a great many times, and I, for one, want to stand by and help you in this time of trouble.
I have been with you for the past five years, and I can truthfully say that I have been more than satisfied with my work and pay.
I have never worked in a more clean and well managed factory.
I have worked in a good many factories in Kansas City and other cities. I would gladly tell anyone of the working conditions in other factories. I wouldn’t begin to compare them with Nelly Don.
If at any time I can help you in any way by testifying for you, I will gladly do so my own free will.
