What Nelly Don has done for me

In the five years I’ve worked at Donnellys weve [we’ve] finished paying for our home.

We’ve repaired it, and it was in badly need of repairs. We’ve put on a new roof, new floors, new siding that makes it so much warmer in the wintertime.

I worked seven years before I came to Donnelly’s, and I never had one day off for a vacation. In the five years I’ve been at Donnelly’s I’ve had two weeks vacation every year, one week with pay. This year I got two week vacation with pay, that gave me a chance to take the trip I’ve wanted to take for a long, long, time. I went to Los Angeles California the first real vacation I’ve had in my life.

At Christmas time my sister & I got ($5.00) five dollaars and a turkey a piece that gave us a chance to give six Motherless boys as real a Christmas as any one can have without a Mother. Baseball shoes, Skates, and other toys that they get only at Christmas time because Mrs. Reed is so generous to us. These are just a few things that wouldn't have been possible if I hadn’t worked at the Donnelly Garment Co.

Working conditions are very good Donnelly’s, wages good, above all fairness all around you. I’ll work at Donnelly’s as long as they’ll keep me.

Sincerely

Miss Anna L. Molle
