The Romance in B-flat is Roman Kim's first piece for violin. It was premièred in 2012 as a recording on YouTube. A sensual, radiant motif was the germ cell for the cycle appearing in this volume.
The Three Romances deal with contrasting emotions. Their musical language is simple and straightforward in its lyricism and melodic style. Yet even seasoned violinists will find that three pieces pose a few technical challenges.
