The work An Eastern Apparition deploys two pianos to assume the roles of "Yin" and "Yang" of an imaginary phantasm in ancient China. There is a belief that ghost comprises two opposing components: while one facet emerges, the other renegades to an opposing entity in a parallel world. While governed by mysterious power, the two entities can interchange or act against each other; by nature, ghost exists in a state of balance between opposing forces.
