Olunchun in the Xiaoxing'anling Mountain was written in 2010; the title of the piece refers to the assignment of the composer to the work unit for ten years during the Cultural Revolution. The work portrays the vibrant nature of hunters of the Oroqen people returning home with their preys, singing and dancing enthusiastically.
