The piano duet Sketches on Tainan Bay is conceived by by juxtaposing many dissonant intervals with perfect fourths and perfect fifths, in order to nurture a mode style typical for music of Taiwan origin. The work consists of five movements, in order to evoke various scenes of South Taiwan, and these include:

II Sunset at Fishing Harbour
III Hot Spring from Volcano
IV Fogs in Lonesome Valley
V Loves for My Small Village
