"I have chosen the title 'Pagoda' for this music which creates an identity between space and time. It is a symbol of the architecture created, a verbal shell for the sounds, a memorial, a shrine for relinquaries. 'Pagode' for solo piano was written in 2004 on the occasion of the anniversary '25 years of Women in Music' and is dedicated to my friend, professor Geng Tao."
