Russian Rag (August 2004)
Russian Rag is the first rag I ever wrote upon a commission from ABC Classics for a CD "Rags to Riches" played on piano by Donna Coleman in 1996. The piece has been arranged by me for many different instruments. The version for bassoon and piano was arranged for Lorelei Dowling.

Cocktail Rag (October 2004)
Originally written for piano solo, it is a light-hearted piece, a little bit like a musical "swizzle stick." It is dedicated to the winemaking Lehmann family from Barossa Valley in Australia.

Removalist Rag (January 2004)
Originally written for piano solo, it was started in Paddington, Sydney, at the Peggy Glanville-Hicks's house and finished when I moved to another house in Coogee, in September 1996. Hence the title "Removalist Rag."

Peggy's Minute Rag (January 2004)
Originally written for piano solo, the original piece is longer than this one-minute ver-sion. The piano version is called "Peggy's Rag," written in 1996 at the composer Peggy Glanville-Hicks's house in Paddington, Sydney and dedicated to the late composer who left this house rent-free to composers to live in for some months.
